Why sustain?

20% of the worlds population  (the Industrialised nations) consume 80% of the worlds materials and energy and contribute to by far most of the environmental damages.

If everybody on this planet wanted to live and consume like the industrialised nations then we would need between three and four planets to sustain us.

In the USA 30 million tonnes of polymer packaging is thrown away each year and only 5% of which is recycled. accounting for a third of an average household’s waste.

20% of the world’s population use 80% our natural resources. The other 80% only use 20%.
